The Systems taught at Progressive Martial Arts Training Center were
chosen because each system builds attributes that contribute to the
development of a well rounded and complete martial artist.

Wing Chun Kung Fu A Chinese system of kung fu that specializes in developing
dynamic, explosive and street-oriented practical self-defense relying on leverage and sensitivity
rather than muscular strength.

Muay Thai
Known as the "science of eight limbs" is the national sport and martial
art of Thailand, and is an effective art for superior physical fitness
and devastating self-defense.

Grappling
as we present it was developed to subdue or defeat a larger attacker by
simple application of leverage and technique. Most of the training
focuses on takedowns and ground fighting and is from the martial arts
of Judo - BJJ - Shoot Wrestling.

Kali / Escrima / Arnis
a bladed weapon-based art from the Philippines. This training develops
footwork, hand eye coordination, and agility while learning the use of
single & double sword, stick, knife and empty hand for practical
self-defense.

Youth (5-12 yrs.)
Improve their focus, concentration, self-discipline and physical
coordination with our specially designed children's program. Our
curriculum provides a fun and exciting workout and develops the skills
for children to succeed in school and in life.

Fitness Kickboxing
is a high energy, fun filled aerobic workout strongly based upon the
training of Muay Thai we also utilized many conditioning and strength
training drills from all our martial art programs. You will learn the
proper technical aspects of punching and kicking and we promise you
will get a Great Workout.

Tai Chi Exercise
Tai Chi is a martial art that was originally for self-defense. Over
time, people began to use Tai Chi for health purposes as well. Tai Chi
is a martial art first and the by product of practicing the exercises
and breathing is a stronger, healthier body. Tai Chi is performed in a
slow, relaxed, and graceful series of movements which improves physical
conditioning, muscle strength, coordination, and flexibility.

Fight Conditioning
This program is not for the weak. Strength training, aerobic &
anaerobic conditioning, plyometric exercises, and body tempering to get
you prepared for the ring. You will be stronger, faster, and
conditioned for fighting.

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
PMATC's MMA program is where it all comes together. What is known as
Mixed Martial Arts is a professional, sport oriented activity that
doesn't have a systematic method for average people who wish to either
become well rounded martial artists, or simply use such knowledge for
self protection. The curriculum covers striking and grappling basics
and combinations. The ground fighting involves submission moves and
ground & pounding, plus defenses, counters and combos.
